The Valencia CF side defeat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 to claim their third consecutive title
VCF Cadete A were crowned champions of the Singapore JSSL Pro 7s tournament, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in a thrilling final.
After completing a great group stage with four wins, one draw, and only one loss, the team showed their best form in the knockout stages, where they bested Persib Bandug of Thailand 4-0 in the quarterfinals. They then overcame Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the semifinals.
AN EXCITING FINAL
The final pitted the two best teams in the tournament against each other. Tottenham Hotspur had previously beaten Valencia CF 3-1 in the group stage.
Tottenham took the lead, but in the final stretch, VCF Cadete A tied the game, eventually prevailing in the final 3v3 tiebreaker.
THIRD VICTORY IN A ROW
With this victory, VCF Cadete A earned a third consecutive title in the JSSL Pro 7s in Singapore, a prestigious tournament held in collaboration with LaLiga.
The VCF Academy also finished runners-up in the women's edition, where the VCF Femenino C/D team reached the final for the third consecutive year.
